Azure Data Engineer

We are hiring a Azure Data Engineer for a Contract engagement in Hyderabad. The resource will work on a client project and is expected to contribute independently from the start of the assignment. The role requires hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Python, Synapse, ETL.

Key Responsibilities:

� Understand project requirements and deliver assigned technical or functional work within agreed timelines.

� Develop, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain solutions relevant to the role.

� Work with engineering, product, QA, infrastructure, business and client stakeholders as required.

� Participate in code reviews, design discussions, testing, deployment and production/support activities where applicable.

� Prepare technical documentation, status updates and implementation notes.

� Investigate defects and production issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable fixes.

� Follow SDLC, Agile, security, quality and change-management processes.

� Contribute to automation, process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

� Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Python, Synapse, ETL

Candidate Profile:

� Strong hands-on experience relevant to Azure Data Engineer.

� Good analytical and problem-solving ability with strong ownership of deliverables.

� Comfortable working in a project-based environment with changing priorities.

� Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

� Ability to join within the required notice period for contract/project deployment.

Engagement: Contract. Working model: Hybrid. Shift: US Shift (6 PM +).

The assignment may be extended based on project requirements and business demand. For Contract to Hire positions, conversion to permanent employment may be considered subject to project need, performance and applicable client policies.
