About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Intern who is passionate about software engineering, AI, and solving real-world customer problems. As an FDE Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to help deploy, customize, and support software solutions for enterprise customers.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to software development, customer implementation, API integrations, cloud technologies, and AI-powered applications. You'll gain practical experience by working on live projects while learning how engineering teams collaborate with customers to deliver production-ready solutions. 

Preferred Skills 

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).  
• Familiarity with Docker.  
• Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).  
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI.  
• Exposure to frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, Express.js, or React is an advantage. 

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset.  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.  
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.  
• Willingness to interact with customers and understand business requirements.

Eligibility 

• Final-year students or recent graduates in:  
• B.Tech / BE (Computer Science, IT, AI, Data Science)  
• MCA  
• BCA  
• M.Tech (Preferred) 
• Strong academic fundamentals in programming and computer science.  
• Internship or academic project experience is a plus.  

Key Responsibilities 

Customer Discovery & Problem Solving 

• Assist in understanding customer requirements and business use cases. 
• Help translate business problems into technical solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.  
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions.  

Software Development 

• Develop and maintain backend or full-stack features using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.  
• Build REST APIs, integrations, and automation scripts.  
• Assist in debugging, testing, and improving application performance.  

System Integration 

• Support integration with third-party APIs and enterprise applications.  
• Assist in configuring and deploying applications in development and testing environments.  
• Learn deployment workflows and CI/CD practices.  

Cloud & Infrastructure 

• Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.  
• Learn containerization concepts using Docker and Kubernetes.  
• Support application deployment and monitoring.   

• AI & Data Engineering 
• Assist in building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).  
• Learn Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.  
• Work with vector databases and document indexing under supervision.  
• Support data preprocessing and API integration tasks.   

Customer Support & Product Improvement 

• Help troubleshoot technical issues during customer implementations.
• Document technical findings, deployment steps, and best practices.  
• Share customer feedback with engineering teams to improve the product.
