Roles and Responsibilities

A Payroll Executive Cum HR, also known as a Payroll and HR Officer or Payroll and HR Administrator, typically handles both payroll and human resources functions within an organization. This combined role involves a diverse range of responsibilities related to employee compensation, benefits, compliance, and overall HR administration.

Here are some common roles and responsibilities associated with a Payroll Executive Cum HR position:

Payroll Management:

Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, wages, and benefits.

Maintain payroll records and systems, including employee data, tax withholding information, and payroll deductions.

Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, exit interviews, and separation procedures.

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and grievances.

Assist in the resolution of employee conflicts or disputes, working closely with management or HR leadership.

Communicate and interpret HR policies, procedures, and programs to employees, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing company events, recognition programs, or wellness activities.

HR Reporting and Analysis:

Compile and analyze HR data, such as headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, and payroll costs.

Generate HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for management review and decision-making.

Identify trends and insights from HR data to support strategic HR planning and initiatives.
