Lead Java Application Engineer – Bengaluru

We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Application Engineer to drive automation testing initiatives and maintain delivery excellence for our Bengaluru-based team. You will lead the design and implementation of robust automation frameworks while mentoring team members on best practices in test automation and SDET methodologies.

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks using Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and Java
• Lead execution of automated testing across multiple environments and coordinate with development teams for issue resolution
• Mentor junior engineers on SDET practices, automation standards, and framework implementation
• Ensure delivery quality by establishing and monitoring automation testing metrics and coverage
• Architect and enhance automation solutions to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual efforts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing workflows
• Document automation frameworks, test cases, and procedures for team knowledge sharing

Candidate Eligibility

• 8–13.5 years of professional experience in Java application development and automation testing
• Strong proficiency in Java programming with hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Demonstrated expertise in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) practices
• Proven track record designing and implementing robust automation testing solutions for enterprise applications
• Experience with framework development and ability to architect scalable automation infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
