Job Description

We are seeking an expert Confluent Kafka contractor with a minimum of 8 years of integration experience, preferably within the retail industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience and expertise in Confluent Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, TIBCO, and other related skills. The primary focus of this role is to redesign and reengineer TIBCO messaging and integration flows into Kafka and other technologies (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, micro services) while demonstrating strong hands-on development skills in Kafka.

Job Overview

Redesign and reengineer existing TIBCO flows into Confluent Kafka architecture.

* Develop and implement efficient and scalable solutions using Confluent Kafka, Java, and Spring Boot technologies.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions.

* Provide expertise in integration architecture and best practices, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the retail industry domain.

* Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.

* Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the Confluent Kafka ecosystem and integration domain.

*Requirements:*

* Minimum 8 years of integration experience in the retail industry.

* Minimum 6 years of experience working specifically with Confluent Kafka, Java, and Spring Boot.

* Strong knowledge of integration architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

* Proven expertise in redesigning and reengineering TIBCO flows into Confluent Kafka architecture.

* Solid understanding of messaging systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time data processing.

* Hands-on development experience in Confluent Kafka, including topics, partitions, producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams.

* Proficient in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot.

* Familiarity with TIBCO technologies, such as TIBCO BusinessWorks and TIBCO EMS.

* Experience with other related technologies, such as Apache Kafka, Avro, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
