Job Description
We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and software solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET, Web API, SQL Server, and modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services.
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Work with SQL Server to create queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with business analysts, QA, UI/UX teams, and other developers.
- Perform unit testing and support application testing and deployment.
- Analyse technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Identify performance issues and implement appropriate improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations.
Required Skills
- Strong programming knowledge in C#.
- Hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic frontend concepts.
- Experience with Git / version control systems.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and debugging.
Good to Have
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
