Job Description

As a Senior UI designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and UX designers, to ensure that the visual design aligns with our brand identity and enhances the user experience.

Job Overview

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to understand project requirements and user needs.

Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and visual design specifications.

Develop high-quality user interface designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.

Create visually engaging and user-friendly icons, illustrations, and graphics.

Use artistic skills to enhance the overall aesthetics and visual appeal of our applications.

Conduct user research and gather feedback to iterate on design solutions.

Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.

Collaborate with developers to ensure the implementation of designs meets the intended vision.

Continuously refine and improve the visual design process and contribute to the growth of the design team.

Roles & Responsibilities

Skills you need to have:

Love for creating aesthetic interfaces with minimal design. We love Dieter Rams Highly proficient in visual design principles (Typography, Visual, Color theory among others) and experience applying them in web and mobile projects

Outstanding attention to detail, Artistic eye for design & Ability to think creatively

Ability to create, mockups & Prototype UI quickly to iterate with users & stakeholders

Enthusiasm to learn, iterate and improve, humility to take design critique objectively

Persona

5+ years of experience as UI Designer

Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field.

Proven work experience as a UI designer or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing artistic skills.

Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.

Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

Excellent artistic skills with the ability to create visually appealing illustrations, icons, and graphics.

Experience working in an agile development environment.

Knowledge of user-centered design principles and usability testing methodologies.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Experience designing complex applications for mobile and web

An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a Fintech environment

Aware of capabilities and limitations of Web technologies such as Android, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
